This workshop will provide physics instructors with a broader depth of information on fluid mechanics and how to incorporate this into high school physics lessons. The focus will be on promoting hands on, small group laboratory activities that illuminate the physics of flow. Attendees will perform a laboratory exercise related to Bernoulli and leave the workshop with instructions so this lab can be used in a high school physics classroom. The use of flow visualization media as a supplement to physics instruction will be described and the participants will learn how to access the archives of flow visualization videos. Attendees will also tour the fluids laboratories at Johns Hopkins.
